Choosing the right venue is a big decision as it sets the tone for the entire event. WCGCC was able to accommodate 300 people utilizing the entire venue, and adding extra space through tenting that allowed guests to mingle and move about freely. Cuisine was an important factor in creating an elegant event. We worked directly with the chef and management to design a menu that was elegant, innovative, using quality ingredients and that fit our budget. The WCGCC coordinated flawlessly wit the vendors that we brought in: band, photographer, parking and lighting. Extra staff was hired and trained to work the event. Without fail all communication was open and easily done. In all instances the WCGCC was flexible and responsive to our needs. We visited other area venues and found WCGCC to be more competitive in cost and service. I would not hesitate to book an event of any size in the future!

A number of years ago we moved to West Chester from out of state with young children. At that time we joined the West Chester Golf & CC pool for obvious reasons. Claudia and I loved it and so did the children. As time went on the kids were growing up and we decided to get involved with golf and tennis. We felt that it was a great way to stay physically fit and healthy. We have enjoyed every minute of it. We have made lots of friends and we continue to have great times as we participate in the many events that the club offers. WCG&CC has become the center of our social life and now our grandchildren are enjoying the pool as their parents did when we first moved here. Hard to believe twenty-seven years have slipped by. Great socialization, great exercise, great food, can't beat it!

Junior Golf Program
Our 9 year old son participated in the Jr. Golf program at West Chester Golf and County Club this year and it has been a blessing. He is not only learning golf techniques, but also golf etiquette and how to manage a round of golf. Duke Matzik has been a wonderful teacher and his love of the game shows in his weekly lessons and individual instruction. The course is set up to allow the younger golfers to see their progress as lessons take place. Our son comes home happy and excited to go back the next week. With all of the restrictions in West Chester due to Covid-19, the Jr. Golf program at West Chester Golf and County Club has been a wonderful opportunity for our son to be active outside and to continue developing his love of the game.

I wanted to pass along a quick note regarding the staff at your Club last Friday. I had the privilege of being a guest of Eric Wolff and Warren Patterson for dinner and drinks Friday. We had a great time and Kara as our waitress and Sean as our bartender met all our needs. The service was terrific. They really outdid themselves. I have been to the Club for some events over the years and have always received first class treatment, but Friday, given the current conditions we are all facing, was another level. I am a member of Chartwell G&CC down here in Severna Park, MD and I can only hope my guests receive similar treatment. You and your team should be proud of the quality of service. Thank you. I will be attending the Member-Guest golf outing in August and am looking forward to another great experience at the Club.
